The Maze Runner Movie Review

I've ever watched The Maze Runner, how about you? Have you ever seen this movie, or do you know this movie? Yes, The Maze Runner directed by Wes Ball, based on James Dashner's 2009 novel. This movie was released on September 19, 2014 in the United States by 20th Century Fox. Production Company of this movie are Gotham Group, Temple Hill Entertainment, and TSG Entertainment.

Rated of this movie is 6.8 from 10 stars on IMDb and PG-13 by the MPAA. This movie tells about Thomas (Dylan O' Bryan), wakes up inside an underground service elevator in a Glade with no memory of his previous life. Glade is enclosed by tall, stone walls, and labyrinth.

Every month, a new boy and supplies arrive in the elevator. The boys, called Gladers, have formed a society with each specialized tasks. Alby (Aml Ameen) is their leader and the first who arrive in the Glade. 

Every day the runners go inside the maze, search the way out, and returning before nightfall when the entrance closes. No one has ever survived a night inside the maze, because there are some "Griever", dangerous creatures in the maze.

Thomas really want to becomes runner, but many Gladers againts him. Then, the condition of the Glade starting to change when a female named Teresa (Kaya Scodelario) come as the last person in the Glade. Teresa becomes the one and only female in that Glade.

She wakes up and tells Thomas that they knew each other before, and they are from WICKED, who put all of them in the Glade. One day, Alby get stung by a Griever. Then Thomas appointed to be runner and becomes the partner of Minho (Ki Hong Lee), runners leader. They try to find an escape route. 

After getting out of the maze with Griever's attack and some Gladers died, the story continues to The Scorch Trials movie.

The sound track, audio , visual effect, art production, and cinematography on this movie are good. Unlike many other popular teen movies, The Maze Runner doesn't has a romance scene. But, some people opine that there are any scenes include some violences, the chemistry beetwen characters not strong enough, and some scenes seem monotonous or insignificant.

I think this movie is interesting enough to satisfy my interest. Opening scene makes me to wait and see what happen in next. The acting of all casts is awesome, the development of the character is also good.

With action, sci-fi, thriller, adventure, and mystery genre, this movie is recommended to teenagers. This movie has good effect with natural outdoor screen picture. The story is fresh enough to bring this movie more interesting.

And the moral values that we can learn from this movie are be curious, never give up to find a way out of all the problems, positive thingking, optimistic, how to fight for life, live with any races, build trust, teamwork, harmonious community, learn to life of simplicity, courage to make a risk, selflessness, kindness, and a sense of sacrifice.
